Ys [userpic]

I'm not getting nearly enough lj-comments.

Of course, this might have something to do with my lack of content-laden posting lately. Really, I don't have a lot to say other than bitching about trying to get the old house fixed so that we have some hope of selling it. That's eating most of my time, and most of the good stuff going on is relatively brainless because I'm being fairly braindead outside of work and working-on-the-house.

Current Mood: tiredtired

I stole some of your content recently. Just put it up on my blog with no accreditation or nothin'.

I guess I should've left a comment or something, hey?

Wow, not one for small questions.

Since this is really affected by personal taste, I think, I'll tell you what does it for me: really rich characters. If I can totally believe that your characters exist, somewhere, I'll tend to be enthralled by the book. Unless I really hate them. *grin*

However, I'm not convinced my tastes are really what you need to cater to to get a book published and well-liked...

Gratuitous non-noteworthy comment here. Merely a marker to let you know that I lurk but don't comment.

You're not?

I'm really sorry to hear that.

You could try posting something that might prompt people to comment on it.

And then you might get some replies.

Like this. :-)

Or it could just be that you have a lot of lurkers. :-) :-)

I guess I've sort of been one of them.

Working on that comment quota, there? *smirk*

Mmmm...braaaaaainz. Good luck with the house; Denver seems like a hard market to sell in right now. A guy down the street from us just listed his house, roughly the same floorplan as ours, for $25K less than we bought ours for. I'm not looking forward to moving any time soon.

US housing market sounds scary, good luck! (This has been an LJ-comment brought to you by the letter 'J'.)

Pithy reply.

You know, I could comment... But I'd have nothing to say.

I'm very good at having nothing to say. :)

Oops, sorry--I used to be told I commented too much, so I've cut back. Here's a late one :-)
