Bush's choice of people for his sound bite is very revealing.

Current Mood: surprisedboggled

For some reason, I just have to think it was a male.

A lot of times you hear about this stuff, it is. Because many Christians are so intent on saying that "gay is the devil" that they ignore their own nature.

Ten percent of the population might be gay, but how many of them actually live their lives as who they really are inside?

Repressing one's self for religious perposes can turn ugly fast when it's something crucial to one's own being. It seems to happen the most in Christianity than any other I have seen.

Of course, I could be wrong about this. This is just what I first think when hearing it, as I have heard of this being the case before..

But don't you see? It's the evil culture that made him do it.

*chokes on his soda, laughing*

Oh dear.

I saw that on Kos the other day. It makes perfect sense, actually.

Republicans have never held themselves to the standards they want to apply to others. DeLay will stay in office even as he gets indicted (and probably convicted), almost all of the "Contract on America" term limit pledges have been broken, Limbaugh's drug habit after publically calling for death penalties on drug offenders, etc.

'Do as I say, not as I do', right?
