An interesting realization.

In the context of a variety of conversations today, I realized something interesting. These are generalizations, not hard-and-fast rules, but I think they're generally accurate.

When I'm wanting to be little, I don't want to worry about responsibility. I don't want to be irresponsible per se; instead I want responsibility to be irrelevant. It's someone else's problem. I want to not even have to worry about the concept of responsibility, much less have to do anything about it.

When I'm wanting to be bottomy, I want to be responsible, I just want my responsibilities to be very well defined and fairly narrow. I want to feel very successful at meeting my responsibilities, and praised when I do.

I'm not sure what the heck this means for the occasional time when I'm feeling both little and bottomy.

Anyway, just wanted to write it down before I forgot it.

that's an interesting insight..

It means you want a small, narrowly-defined set of responsibilities to be chosen for you and imposed upon you. Be good now or Momma will spank.
