Oh, and since several people asked, Adderall is an ADD/ADHD medication, one of the stimulants -- it's several different formulations of amphetamine salts mixed together (and thus is a Schedule I controlled drug).

The XR form is the extended release 12 hour version.

Edit: Schedule II, not Schedule I. A controlled substance with extra controls on prescriptions, anyway. Translation: A pain in the ass to deal with at the pharmacy, mostly.

I think it's actually schedule II, not schedule I. If I remember correctly, schedule I is "high potential for abuse and no currently accepted medical use," while II is just "high potential for abuse."

This page agrees with that assessment, but is hardly an authoritative source, so YMMV.

It's what I am on. Though I take an almost insignificant amount.
