You know, I've never dieted, but this sounds all too familiar:

People who skip breakfast are also the type of people who tend to go without eating in general, Glassman tells WebMD. They're the same ones who go until 3 p.m. without lunch or tend to forget to eat all day and then feast on a large dinner.

Except I often blow off the dinner, too. And I prefer to have my larger meal at lunch. But I've definitely forgotten to eat all day.

And I pretty much never manage to eat breakfast. I haven't eaten breakfast consistently since I was living in the dorms in college. Suffice it to say that that was well over a decade ago.

I skip breakfast all the time too -- often I have to, because for the first hour or two I'm awake I'll get very sick if I eat, and after that I've been at work for a while. That said, one of the things I did on the low-carb diet I was on was to eat a few bites of something high-protein first thing, so maybe that alone helped me to lose weight.

I can't eat first thing in the morning, either. The doctor thought it was from post-nasal drip caused by reflux, but after a month on that Prilosec crap... I still can't eat in the morning. SO THERE

And it's not causing my weight loss, they still haven't figured THAT out.

I love to cook for an appreciative audience.

And I love to eat a good meal.

But this whole food-for-bodily-maintenance thing is really annoying. Who thought that one up, anyway?

Gah.  I'm usually nauseated by the thought of food, first thing in the morning.

Just recently I had my first meal of the day at 11:30 p.m. >_>

Oops, nearly forgot breakfast again. Thanks for the reminder =) (Weirdly enough, I do find it easier to loose weight when I remember breakfast, even if I have to force food on an unwilling belly...)

As much as I love to cook, I hate to eat - and it really gets on my nerves when I have to feed my family, because jeez, do they really need to eat every damn day? I can't help feeling that three meals is horribly excessive for just one day.

I can and have easily gone days without eating, without realizing it. While this makes life more convinient and time-filled for me, the downsides include a metabolism so slow I swear it is going backwards, and immensely irritating blood sugar issues. As such, I am damn near force-fed three meals a day and my family knows when I haven't eaten, because I pass the fuck out. I swear, I am going to learn how to photosynthesize, and then all my problems will be solved...
